Early in his career, Ronn Vigh’s brash attitude and acerbic wit earned him a comparison to a young Joan Rivers by the SF Weekly. It was certainly a fitting comparison as Ronn later became a writer for Rivers on her hit E! Television show “Fashion Police.”
Ronn regularly performs at comedy clubs, colleges and festivals across the nation. He also co-hosts the sports-comedy podcast, “Switching Teams: A Gay Dude & A Straight Dude Talk About Sports.”
His biggest accomplishment: Working briefly as a flight attendant and not attempting to smother any of his passengers with a pillow. Yes, there were complimentary pillows on the plane when Ronn did that job. Please don’t do the math.
Karinda Dobbins was born and raised in Detroit, where she got her start being a comedian, as her family says, since childhood. She started doing jokes on stage 12 years ago at an open mic in Oakland on a light dare from a friend, and has been honing her craft ever since. Black & Blue is a strong collection of that work, delivered in a unique moment, covering ordinary life including her girlfriend’s arbitrary policy on household pests, the changes hipsters have brought to Oakland, and a unique packing list for hiking provided by black women – who you should always listen to.
Iain Langlands is a 25 year old stand-up comedian born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. His comedy journey began at the world renowned San Francisco State University open mic. He definitely went up there and spoke into a microphone but he walked away with an insight into the comedic process. His tenacity (or as the kids call it “beast mode”) has helped him become a passed regular at the San Francisco Punch Line, Cobbs Comedy Club, and Cheaper Than Therapy. Iain’s routine lead him to be featured in the Asheville Comedy festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and become a Semi-finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition. He now runs and performs on 4 successful comedy shows operating weekly in the bay. All these fantastic opportunities have helped him build a routine around being Gen Z, discussions on bathroom etiquette and the highly contested “boobs verse ass” debate. Some describe seeing his act as “life changing” and “similar to witnessing a prophet preach the gospel of the lord.” But all he does is attempt to be the sweetest boy and make people go “ha-ha” “hee-hee.” 🙂
Natasha is a stand-up comedian and humorous writer who moved to San Francisco last century and hasn’t been pushed out of the City (yet). She likes puns, wordplay, and portmanteaus, and enjoys weaving them into jokes and comical bits about being trans, being a mom, and being alone with her thoughts. Some audiences don’t know what to make of her, so it’s a good thing she’s a self-made lady. When she’s not making scores of people laugh on stage, she’s plugging away at her blog. Natasha’s comedy is so good it’s not even funny.
